Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrive in Srinagar
Kashmir: Paradise on Earth, filled with natural surroundings, is the perfect place to beat the heat and dust. Arrive in Srinagar and transfer to the hotel or check in. The tourist attractions of Srinagar are mainly related to natural beauty like lakes, gardens, etc. Evening for Shikara Ride (optional), a trip to the Dal Lake.
- Day 2: Srinagar: Local Sightseeing
Today’s local sightseeing in Srinagar, including a visit to Shree Shankaracharya Temple: Perched on Takht-e-Suleiman Hill, the temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is supposed to be the oldest shrine in the Kashmir Valley. Mughal Gardens: The landscaped Mughal Gardens, developed by the rulers of the Mughal Dynasty, make you fall in love with their beauty. They consist mainly of the following three gardens: Chashmashahi Garden, Nishat Garden,Shalimar Garden, etc.
- Day 3: Srinagar-Sonmarg-Srinagar (4 hours one way)
Today’s excursion to Sonmarg means “Meadow of Gold”. Ice-capped Himalayan Ranges here. The fields are carpeted with flowers and are a major attraction during the summer months. Tip: Hire ponies to take a trip to Thajiwas Glacier. Or Yusmarg: This place is for people who love to be lost in nature. The trees surround the area with beautiful mountains.
- Day 4: Srinagar-Gulmarg (2-hour drive)
Check out and depart for Gulmarg, thirty-two miles from Srinagar, situated amidst the snow-capped mountains of Pirpanjal at 8,500 feet. The. Arrival and check-in time are free for sightseeing and a gondola ride (optional). The longest ski run in Gulmarg is provided by the Gondola Cable Car, which allows a ski run of 2,213m.
- Day 5: Gulmarg-Pahalgam (4-hour drive)
Check out and depart for Pahalgam. Pahalgam is probably the most popular hill resort in the Kashmir Valley. It has the further advantage of the beautiful Lidder River running right through the town. It is situated at the junction of the Aru and Sheshnag Rivers and is surrounded by soaring, fir-covered mountains with bare, snow-capped peaks rising behind them.

- Day 6: Pahalgam
Full day free for the sightseeing of Chandanwadi (Snow Point). Situated 16 km from Pahalgam, it is famous for snow sledging on a snow bridge and is also known as “Betaab Valley,” which is the place where the movie was shot. Aaru Valley, a small village 11 kilometres upstream from the Lidder River, is a beautiful locality. The route is picturesque, with ample campsites. This village is the starting point for treks to the Kolahoi Glacier.
- Day 7: Pahalgam-PPatnitop (6/7 Hrs Drive)
Arrival and check-in Evenings are free for relaxation or sightseeing. Patnitop as a whole is replete with splendorous beauty throughout the year. During the festive times, devotees throng the Naag Temple, one of the most ancient shrines in the region. A grand fair is also organised during the festival. - Day 8: Patnitop-Katra (4-hour drive)
